Since then, it has become one of the most famous theatres in Georgia. In the 1930s, it was moved to Tbilisi. It gives performances of the great classical literary works and contemporary art. This beautiful Art Nouveau monument stands after the bridge on the left side of Mardjanishvili Street. In the 1930s, the painter Gudashvili decorated the interior.
