This main artery of the old town, recently renovated, is an important center for Orthodox clergy.
From Liberty Square, this street leads to Meidan Square. Although referred to as Kote Afkhazi, it is also known as Leselidze Street (Leselidze is a Georgian hero of the Second World War). This street is one of the main arteries of the old town. Recently renovated, it is dotted with travel agencies, car rentals, souvenir stores, hotels, restaurants and jewelry shops. Close to the Church of Sion, the street is also an important center for Orthodox clergy.
