Artificial reservoir behind the hill topped by the enormous National History Memorial.

No, it's not a sea, but an artificial reservoir (Tbilissis Zrva). Behind the hills on which Tbilisi's modern districts are built, it seems to be lost in the mountains. The heights of the Kartlie mountains of the Greater Caucasus overlook it, giving it a foretaste of the mountains. In summer, Tbilissians flock here to bathe. You can get there by walking around the hill topped by the enormous National History Memorial.
