TheAcademy of Fine Arts at 22 is not actually open to the public, but you may be shown around if you come in. The interior is breathtaking: some of the rooms were designed by students in the late ^19th century.

A little further down, at 8 Griboedov Street, the Conservatory, which also has concert halls, is a very elegant neoclassical building dating from 1904. Try to see some of the concerts, as the interior decoration is very impressive.
