RUE ALEXANDRE GRIBOEDOV
A little further down, at 8 Griboedov Street, you'll find a conservatory with concert halls featuring imposing interiors.
TheAcademy of Fine Arts at 22 is not actually open to the public, but you may be shown around if you come in. The interior is breathtaking: some of the rooms were designed by students in the late 19th century. The "treasure rooms" are Art Deco in style, with totally whimsical ornamentation.
A little further down, at 8 Griboedov Street, the Conservatory, which also has concert halls, is a very elegant neoclassical building dating from 1904. Try to see some of the concerts, as the interior decoration is very impressive.
