Pheasant's Tears Restaurant offers Georgian cuisine and fusion thanks to its chef Gia Rokashvili, a native of Sighnaghi and who works with seasonal local products. The menus are designed to accommodate vegetable and meat lovers, a good time to share in authentic surroundings. Pheasant's Tears is also famous for his vineyards and his "organic" wine, John an American who fell in love with Georgia in 1995, cultivates and produces his own wines with the Georgian wine-making techniques. With regard to the tastings and the visit of the vineyard, ask the manager Tamriko who will be happy to guide you. If you go to Kakhétie, you must plan a stop at Pheasant's Tears!

Wine tasting selection was great but service and explanation was poor comparing to other wineries in the area.

Great place for some wine tasking. Nice atmosphere. You pay 40 gel for tasting 4 great wines, but I wish the sommelier could give more info and would be more enthusiastic about the tasting.
