NIKO PIROSMANI MUSEUM
Go there and contact
An excursion to the native village of Pirosmani, the great Georgian painter of the late th century, is really worth a visit. At the end of hills planted with walnut, before the steppe goes down to Azerbaijan, in villages, the site is superb, at the bottom of the country. Like all the museums-regional houses, the Pirosmani Museum contains a small home of Pirosmani, old house kakhétienne, and a huge Soviet building, the museum. In the museum, there are a few dozen canvases of the naive painter, even though many of his famous paintings are exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts in Tbilisi. The paintings are still worth displacement, just like the place. Seeing the place of birth of the painter is a significant illumination of his work.
