Medieval fortress opposite the Romanov palace, with views of the Kura, the city and the other fortress, Bordjomi.
This medieval fortress (10th-11th centuries) is beautifully perched on a hill. It offers beautiful views of the Koura river, the town, the other Bordjomi fortress, Gogias Tsikhé and the Romanov palace, just opposite. It's a pleasant climb, but only for those in good physical condition. Access is not easy either, so ask for directions if you have difficulty finding your way around.
