SOURP NCHAN ARMENIAN CHURCH (SURB NSHAN)
Unique and beautiful Armenian church overlooking Akhaltsikhé, with a cupola and four adjoining square bell towers.
It has a beautiful silhouette, with its cupola and four small square bell towers adjoining. Apart from the two churches in Tbilisi and Djavakhetia, it is the only Armenian church donated to the community in 1990 and used for services. The interior is dark and austere; from the forecourt, there's a magnificent view of Akhaltsikhé and the surrounding mountains. Few tourists come here, especially now that Rabati has undergone a makeover.
