House museum near the former Catholic church, inviting you to take a tour of period furniture and instruments.

The origins of the church date back to the 15th century, but it was rebuilt in the 19th century in a Baroque style that stands out from the usual style of Georgian churches. At one time Catholic, the church is now Orthodox. A stone's throw from the Catholic church, a sign marks the birthplace of Georgia's greatest composer, Zakaria Paliachvili (1871-1933). It was once open to the public. Continuing along the street towards the Jewish quarter, you'll come to the Armenian church of St. George. A lovely walk along the Rioni.
