GOLD FISH (OKROS TEVZI)

Directly on the seafront, this restaurant specializes in fish - and that's a good thing, because there's not that much of it in Batoumi, which is a bit of a shame for a port town! Inside, the decor is both folkloric and designer. The dishes are a little pricey, but the excellent service and the excellent fish accompanied by the finest Georgian wines make it all worthwhile. A warm atmosphere and a good meal in prospect. The restaurant is a little out of the center of town, a stone's throw from the Arts and Music Center.
