The Colchis National Park (Kolkheti in Georgian) is a beautiful nature reserve situated between the Black Sea and Lake Paliastomi, with two rivers running through it. It offers superb walks amidst a rich biodiversity. A great deal of scientific research is carried out here. It's a protected area of swamp forest. This is one of Poti's major points of interest.
