A visit to a winery in Ratcha, the country's second largest wine-growing region, is a must. The factory produces mainly semi-sweet wine. Their exports are handled by the Georgian Wine Society, which bottles their wine. For tasting, even early in the morning, expect smoked bacon (a local specialty), bread and wine glasses filled almost to the brim. Here, you're welcomed generously. This is first and foremost a store, so we advise you to book your wine tasting in advance.
