Pic de la Croix invites you to hike to the top and enjoy breathtaking views of the Ouchba.
The Peak of the Cross (Djvris Mta) is 2350 meters high. It can be climbed directly from Mestia, in Laghoumi, by continuing straight ahead along the main street of the old town, then following the slope to the right. It's a lovely 5-hour hike. The view from the top is breathtaking, both over the Ouchba and the valley. Check with the tourist office beforehand, and ask for a mountain guide if you need one.
