AÉROPORT DE SARAJEVO

Established in 1969, this small international airport (Međunarodni Aerodrom Sarajevo) has direct connections with Paris-Beauvais, Basel-Mulhouse and Brussels-Charleroi operated by Wizz Air. Other connections with Belgrade, Zagreb, London, Rome, Istanbul, Sweden, Germany and the Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait...). On site: Wifi, duty-free stores, cafes, restaurant, information point and car rental companies, including Avis and Europcar. In the lobby, note the plaque honoring the eight French peacekeepers who died here during the 1992-1996 siege.
