CENTRE CULTUREL BOSNIEN

Founded in 1993, this national cultural center (Bosanski Kulturni Centar) has an art gallery and a modern 800-seat auditorium that hosts many cultural events, from traditional dance performances to festivals such as the jazz festival in November (see the program on the website). The building is that of the former Socialist University of Workers, which retains part of the walls of the great Sephardic synagogue(Il Kal Grande) erected in 1930 and destroyed during the Second World War.
