The promise of a daily animation during the three winter months: concert, reading, guided tour, film, conferences..
This festival (Sarajevska Zima) was held for the first time in 1984-1985, in the wake of the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, and continued during the siege of the city, between 1992 and 1996. The program is still as eclectic as ever, with the promise of one event per day during the three winter months: concert, reading, guided tour, film, conference, happening, etc. Since its origins, the festival has been organized by the Sarajevan association Međunarodni Centar za Mir ("International Center for Peace") in collaboration with the city's museums.
