This festival (Baščaršijske Noći) is the largest in the country, attracting about 200,000 people to Sarajevo, mainly in the historic Baščaršija district. Organized in its current form since 1995 by the Bosnian Cultural Center, it features opera, rock concerts, traditional music, contemporary dance, film screenings, exhibitions, guided tours, etc. For three weeks in July-August is also held a "street food" festival since 2018 in the pedestrian streets around Alija-Izetbegović Square.
