AVAZ TWIST TOWER
A 172 m-high twisted glass tower in Sarajevo housing the headquarters of Avaz Media Group and the offices of foreign companies.
Completed in 2009, this twisted glass tower is the highest building in the country. It stands 172 m high (including a 30 m antenna) and is the headquarters of Avaz Media Group, a media group that publishes the daily newspaper Dnevni Avaz ("the voice of the daily"). Its 38 floors also house the offices of foreign companies such as Gazprom as well as a restaurant, a bar and a panoramic platform (31st, 35th and 36th floors). The building overlooks the Bosmal City Centar (118 m) built in 2001 and the twin towers "Unis" (97 m), erected in 1987 and burned down in 1992.
