SCULPTURE "NERMINE, DOĐI!"
Statue in concrete, plaster and silicone, 2 m high, inspired by a terrifying scene filmed during the Srebrenica genocide.
The sculpture, whose name means "Nerma, come!", was inspired by a terrifying scene filmed on July 11, 1995, during the genocide in Srebrenica. Measuring 2 m tall, the concrete, plaster and silicone statue was installed here in 2015 by artist Mensud Kečo, born in Foča in 1957. It depicts Ramo Osmanović shouting to his son Nerma to surrender to Bosnian Serb forces after they promised the Bosnians their lives. Ramo and Nerma will be executed the same day.
