MUSÉE DE LA GUERRE - SARAJEVO 1992
Small private museum in a former underground shelter recounting life in the capital during the 1992-1996 siege.
Installed in a former underground shelter, this small private museum (Ratni Muzej-Sarajevo 1992) retraces life in the capital during the 1992-1996 siege. Not at all modern in its presentation, it nevertheless gives a good overview of the daily life of Sarajevans during these 1,425 days thanks to a jumble of objects and weapons enhanced by sound effects. We discover, for example, that in order to recognize each other, the defenders of the city applied make-up to their faces.
