Art gallery belonging to the painter Safet Zec exhibiting some paintings for sale.
This art gallery (Atelje-Zbirka Zec Studio Collection) is owned by Safet Zec, the most highly rated painter in the country since the 1990s. Born in 1943 in Rogatica, Eastern Bosnia, the artist was the leader of the pictorial movement of "poetic realism" in Yugoslavia. He was particularly noted for his Exodus series devoted to the genocide in Srebrenica. Some of his paintings are for sale here. The painter also has galleries in Venice and Paris (5, rue Alphonse-Baudin) and regularly exhibits in the beautiful village of Počitelj, in Herzegovina.
