This large popular open-air market (Pijaca Ciglane) is set between two cemeteries, at the foot of the Đuro-Đaković complex, an impressive brutalist-style building complex built between 1976 and 1989 that is served by a small funicular. There are fruit and vegetable stalls, butchers and fishmongers, florists, burek or ćevapi stands, clothing stores, but also a flea market animated by a few antique shops and by Sarajevans coming to sell anything and everything (ice skates, coffee service...).
