ROMAIN BRIDGE
Old stone bridge, 40 m long and 4.5 m wide, supported by seven arches, built by the Romans and spanning the Bosna river.
Despite its name (Rimski Most), this old stone bridge over the Bosna was not built by the Romans but during the Ottoman period, around 1530. It is nevertheless very elegant with its seven arches supporting a deck 40 m long and 4.5 m wide. Closed to vehicular traffic since the 1950s, it owes its name to a much older structure built on this site: some of the stones of the current structure are from antiquity. Several discoveries dating from the Roman period have been made nearby.
