This so-called "international" airport (Međunarodni Aerodrom Mostar) does not actually have any regular air service. It is mainly served by charter companies carrying groups of Catholic pilgrims traveling to Međugorje. If you arrive in Mostar this way, you'll find cabs and a car rental agency on site (as well as an old Yugoslavian Air Force Soko 522). Destroyed during the last war, the airport was rehabilitated by French soldiers in 1995 and reopened to civilian flights in 1998.
