THÉÂTRE NATIONAL CROATE DE MOSTAR
A small, austere national theater housing Bosnia-Herzegovina's main Bosnian-Croat cultural institution.
This small and austere building (Hrvatsko Narodno Kazalište u Mostaru) houses the main Bosnian-Croat cultural institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was built between 1996 and 2011 on the site of the Hit department store (1973) destroyed during the last war. In front of the theater is a monument inaugurated by King Juan Carlos in 2012 that bears the names of the 22 soldiers and a Bosnian interpreter of the Spanish continent of the peacekeepers who died in the country between 1992 and 1998.
