This theater (Pozorište Lutaka Mostar) offers shows for all audiences adapted from Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian folklore. Regularly awarded in the festivals of former Yugoslavia, this public institution created in 1952 is installed in a former synagogue, itself founded in 1904 in a barn. The building was given to the municipality in 1950 by the twenty or so Jewish inhabitants of Mostar who had survived the Holocaust. The Jewish community counts about 50 people today.
