MUSEUM OF THE WAR OF 1992-1955
Small private Bosnian museum presenting the shoes of a little girl who passed through the Bosnian-Serb camps during the conflict.
Established in 2018, this small private Bosnian museum bears the full name "Museum of the War and Genocide of 1992-1955" (Muzej Žrtava Rata i Genocida 1992-1955). Through personal objects, it presents the testimonies of victims of the conflict: the shoes of a little girl who passed through the Bosnian-Serb camps, for example. It is touching, but, unfortunately, also very partisan and sometimes misleading. In the same genre, the Museum of Childhood at War, in Sarajevo, is much more subtle.
