PARC ZRINJEVAC
A green space in the town center housing two amazing objects, including a 2-metre-high Easter egg and a statue of Bruce Lee.
The only green space in the city center, this 3 hectare park (Zrinjevac Park) is pleasant with its lawns and some 300 trees. It houses two amazing objects: a 2 m high Easter egg and a statue of Bruce Lee. Formerly the "City Park" (Gradski Park) created in 1953, it was renamed in 2007 in honor of the Viceroy of Croatia Nikola Šubić Zrinski. He died as a hero against the Ottomans in Szigetvár, on the Hungarian border, on September 7, 1566, in the "battle that saved civilization", as Richelieu later said.
