MARCHÉ MUNICIPAL

The main market (Pijaca Mostar) is located between old apartment buildings, under the hall of a Konzum supermarket. It is mainly made up of local producers and sellers of fruit and vegetables, but fresh meat and fish are also available. In the old town, the small covered market of Tepa (300 m north of the Old Bridge) sells mostly trinkets and counterfeits for tourists. More interesting is the village of Vrapčići (6 km northeast of the train station), which hosts a large flea market(buvlja pijaca) every Sunday.
