PONT DE KLEPCI
Elegant stone bridge supported by a hogback arch with a span of 17.52 m and a height of 6.30 m above the water.
This elegant stone bridge (Most u Klepcima) spans the Bregava River which comes from Stolac and flows into the Neretva about 600 m further on. It was built in 1517 by order of the Ottoman governor Mustafa-bey. Also known as the "Mustabey Bridge" (Mustaj-Begov Most), the structure consists of a 78 m long deck supported by a single arch with a span of 17.52 m and a height of 6.30 m above the water. Its shape is reminiscent of the Old Bridge of Mostar, built nearly fifty years later.
