ÉGLISE SAINTS-PIERRE-ET-PAUL
Small Serbian Orthodox church behind the old cemetery, featuring two seats carved into the rock, one 2.5 m high.
This small Serbian Orthodox church (Crkva Svetih Petra i Pavla/Црква Светог Петра и Павла) was built in 1505 upon the death of the Aromanian lord Radoslav Hrabren-Miloradović. Behind it is the old cemetery where the "judges' chairs" (Sudačke Stolice) stand, two seats carved out of the rock, one of them 2.5 m high. This is where justice was dispensed by the Hrabren-Miloradović. The name of the town could come from this high "chair"(stolac in Croatian).
