HADŽI ALIJA HADŽISALIHOVIĆ MOSQUE
Rectangular mosque with a beautiful tavaillon roof, next to the Inat bridge, with an 18 m-high minaret.
Capped with a beautiful tavaillon roof, this mosque (Džamija Hadži Alije Hadžisalihovića) is a 2010 replica of a building destroyed in 1993. Also called the "bridge mosque" (Ćuprijska Džamija), it is located next to the Inat Bridge. The original mosque (late 16th century) was renovated in the 18th century thanks to a gift from Hadži Alija Hadžisalihović, an officer of Stolac who died in Egypt in 1734. Rectangular (10.34 x 12.37 m), the building has a minaret of 18 m in height.
