Brewery with museum and restaurant with terrace on the Vrbas, the country's second-largest beer producer.
Founded in 1873 by the neighboring abbey, nationalized in 1946, and now owned by an American pension fund, this brewery (Banjalučka Pivara/Бањалучка Пивара) is the second largest beer producer in the country after the Sarajevo Brewery. There is a museum (listed on the website in "Istorijska izložba") and the restaurant Zlatna Krigla with terrace on the Vrbas. The house beers Nektar, Kastel and Crni Đorđe are served here, as well as the licensed Kaltenberg from Bavaria. Not far away there is also since 2016 the microbrewery Gorštak.
