CITTÀ DEL SALE

This fast food restaurant with an Italian name ("the city of salt") serves pizza, pasta and ćevapi as well as the local lager, Tuzlanski, and Herzegovina wines. No gastronomic miracles to look forward to, but the small terrace is very pleasant on nice days. Note, on the corner of the street, the statues representing the two great artists of Tuzla, the painter Ismet Mujezinović (1907-1984) and the writer Meša Selimović (1910-1982), author of Dervish and Death (1966), one of the most important literary works of socialist Yugoslavia.
