PLACE OF THE VICTIMS-OF-GENOCIDE-OF-SREBRENICA
A pretty little cobbled square dominated by the Čaršijska mosque hosts a monthly event by the Srebrenica Women's Association.
This pretty little cobblestone square was renamed in memory of the largest massacre of the last war (Trg Žrtava Genocida u Srebrenici). It is dominated by the Čaršijska Mosque, founded in 1580 and rebuilt in 1874. In the center stands the mosque fountain(šadrvan), destroyed in 1945 and rebuilt in 1997. Very pleasant with its terraces and colorful Austro-Hungarian facades, the square hosts a monthly event of the association of Women of Srebrenica.
