A town in the Sokoluša valley with an important heritage from the Ottoman period: mosques, churches, hammam..
Located in the valley of the Sokoluša, this town of 13,000 inhabitants retains an important heritage of the Ottoman period: mosques, churches, Popović house, medersa, hammam and clock tower of 27 m height which has the particularity of being leaning. The surrounding area offers beautiful landscapes with the ruins of the fortress of Sokol (in Soko, 6 km northeast), which date back to the fifteenth century, or Delići, a hamlet in the village of Lukavica (18 km northwest), which has a pretty little mosque (1905) set on top of a hill dotted with white steles.
