GROTTE DE LA DABAR
Cave with an endemic variety of protoea anguillard, inhabited in Neolithic times by men of the Hrustovo culture.
In this cave(Dabarska Pećina) originates the Dabar ("beaver"), a tributary of the Sana. The entrance forms a lake where lives an endemic variety of protae anguillard(Proteus anguinus), known as "human fish" because of the color of its skin. The cave remains unexplored, but the entrance was occupied by the Illyrians. Further south is the deep Hrustovo Cave(Hrustovačka Pećina), near the village of the same name. It was inhabited in the Neolithic period by men of the "Hrustovo culture" whose pottery can be seen in the National Museum, Sarajevo.
