Held in Bangangté, its aim is to promote the traditional Medumba language and local crafts.
It takes place every two years (usually in July) and is organized by the elites of the 14 villages of the Ndé department in western Cameroon. It takes place in Bangangté over a two-week period, with each day devoted to a different village. Its aim is to promote the traditional Medumba language and local crafts. During the festival, traditional dances are organized, as well as readings of tales and legends about the region's inhabitants.
