There are several nice little restaurants in the neighborhood where you can eat Cameroonian food, but at Hélène's, the specialties are tripe and DG chicken dishes! Plantain in all its forms, ripe or unripe, fried or steamed, is always a welcome accompaniment. This address, which has recently become recognizable by its small sign, has a regular clientele who like to sit inside or on the terrace to sample Maman Hélène's secret recipes. Delicious dishes with the real taste of Cameroon, just the way we like it.

Eating tripe in Yaoundé? And yes! Go! Good, it is style scrubland, the service is rather rustic, the basic dishes, but the famous tripe, chicken DG are worth visiting, accompanied by plantain " tapé".
the best hummmmmmmm DG and the best tripe of Yaoundé 1 rather nice setting from work: a' a must to discover!
