As its name suggests, Boukarou is a huge wooden-roofed hut, dressed in beams and columns and open to the outside. This is what one of Yaoundé's liveliest music scenes looks like. Entirely decorated with local materials, the Boukarou offers that rustic atmosphere so typical of Cameroon, which has stood the test of time without ever tiring of it. The stage is at the center of the space, and when the percussion and guitars start to sound, the atmosphere ignites... A must-see in Yaoundé.
