MALAΪKA
Le Malaïka overlooks the Nlongkak traffic circle, the beating heart of Yaoundé and stronghold of the yellow cabs. Le Malaïka calls itself a night bar, but the best time to go is in the late afternoon to sip a cold beer and watch the night fall. Indeed, the atmosphere at this time of day in a big city like Yaoundé is that of the late rush hour, when the day ends and the city's inhabitants get off work. With its completely open space on the traffic circle, it's the ideal perch from which to observe this unique ballet.
