From 1964 onwards, the monastery's wooded grounds were home to monastic life. A small museum, founded by Father Luitfrid Marfurt, represents traditional Cameroonian art through masks, stylized stools, figurines, notables' pipes, oil lamps, decorative wooden panels and tree seed tokens used in the traditional Abbia game, recognized as a divinatory art. The museum, inaugurated in 1970, has been welcoming visitors ever since.

Un musée composé de deux pièces où le ménage n'a pas été fait depuis très très longtemps. Un moine désagréable à l'ouverture, aucune explications. Quelques belles pièces mais c'est loin pour juste cela.

Haven at 5 minutes of the city. The rooms are simple but very clean with the added bonus of a view! Perfect for a relaxing weekend. Musemusée itself is full and some rooms are truly remarkable. The place is small but charming.
