The best time to discover them is when the flow is at its maximum, i.e. during the rainy season (September to November), and then the spectacle is magnificent, as you discover not just a mouth but a magnificent waterfall over 100 meters wide. All the way up, the river seems to be rushing to join the salt waters of the Gulf of Guinea in the middle of a cove. The guides will undoubtedly suggest that you see the pygmies, a sad "attraction" that has done the little people no favours. You're better off taking a pirogue ride.

it is less impressive than expected and there is a very narrow track to go there (for sure not for disabled people) from the restaurants on the beach. The toilets are horrible. I swumin the sea but the water is so brown that you cannot see anything.
Nothing unforgettable it is far from the entire kribi so if you do not to better...
Unmissable site when Cameroon is visited. However to choose the period well because the falls show their beauty in the rainy season. The ideal is to visit them in October or November. They then occupy all the width of the mouth. Stroll in the possible canoeing at the foot of the falls. Price to be negotiated.
However, the increase of Foiled for Pygmies is not recommended if you do not want to be disappointed. Indeed, the few camps Pygmies are very altered by tourism. However the pleasant.
Finally, in the construction of the deep water port Kribi, the track was rebuilt and several bridges enable you to move without difficulty. It takes 10 minutes from Kribi, where it took 30 minute it is not so long ago.

Arnaque +++
