The Lala camps (less interesting than those in Cameroon, however), in the region of Elog-Batindi, and the village of Bipindi, about 70 km from Kribi, can be the occasion for a pleasant walk in the region. The Pygmies of Bipindi are particularly famous for their artistic know-how and their traditional medicine that they pass from father to son.

Les pygmées sont ravagés par l'alcool qui est donné par les touristes, triste spectacle.

You have to take a wooden canoe (no engine) from the bridge close to the waterfalls and after 45 minutes you arrive to the camp where you talk a bit with te people and you discover a bit of them. They are not particularly excited of your presence and they are happy only when you give the money. However it was a long time that I wanted to see pygmies in Africa and now I am happy.
Manque d'hautenticité,dommage.
