LE BIQUET'S
Restaurant with good value for money and a varied menu facing the sea in Cabourg.
A little far from the others on the Promenade, you can easily get caught in the net of this restaurant which is worth for its setting and its welcome. Not many restaurants on the seawall offer such proximity to the beach and, on fine days, a breathtaking view of the sunset. The quality/price ratio is quite reasonable and the varied menu - served for lunch and dinner - so that everyone can find pleasure in satisfying a passing whim. We’ll opt for the "grand large" formula since we’re facing the sea with - after the seafood plate - a penchant for sea bass fillet with orange or cod in a pecan crust with chorizo butter. The menu also offers a choice of meats (veal escalope, filet mignon à la normande or camembert) and salads. In the afternoon, stop for an ice cream or pancake (or both) accompanied by Father Jules’ famous cider. Before the moonlit walk, opt for a nice little casserole of sea mussels (be careful, French fries not included!), then let yourself be carried away by the beauty of the landscape and the sound of the waves.
