Défense de Stationner is an antiques store in Caen’s Rue Quincampoix. Owners Boris Paut and David Bihoreau opened the store in a discreet part of town. The store’s facade is painted vintage blue, reminiscent of old shopfronts. The "No Parking" sign has been retained, as it was part of the history of the premises, which was once a garage. Inside, visitors can discover a selection of antique and design objects from the 20th century, in the spirit of curiosity cabinets. Lamps, African objects, old books, furniture, paintings and lithographs are presented in a carefully staged setting.
