If you are told that the Caennais Guillaume Guibert makes a card, take it at the foot of the letter! This self-taught artist - he worked for a few years with a great Parisian designer - manufactures furniture and cardboard decorations. If it is strong! To convince you, install in one of its chairs, you will see… And in addition it is beautiful! It must be said that Guillaume has an imaginary imagination and a real sensitivity. In his studio, a former garage he himself arranged - he does not sacrifice the external signs of fame - he simply receives, proud of having elevated the cardboard to the rank of noble and sensual material. After having passed the entrance door lined with rusty flying and wheels, a shed of diverse objects is discovered: sketches of furniture, masks, paintings…, creation of the artist in the middle of which throne an immense set intended to bear huge cardboard plates. On the mezzanine, some furniture and finished objects, including a round line chair, very comfortable. Guillaume explains that he works on order and travels among his clients to immerse himself from their interior before embarking, sensitive, always… Since recently the artist, decidedly generous, makes his know-how through internships and workshops.
