Restaurant in the centre of Caen’s Vaugueux district, offering a lovely terrace and nestled in a charming building.

Ah, the charm of La Poterne! At the helm is Graziella, one hell of a woman. An air of yesteryear with beams and stonework, but a breath of fresh air with a more modern decor. In short, that extra touch of soul that makes a restaurant so special. At the table: foie gras from Grandpa Jean-Charles, Caen-style tripe, entrecôte steak with French fries and salad (good, fresh, crunchy), a salad menu for vegans... Simple, fresh and homemade. What's more, you can eat, drink and have dessert every day! Bonus: in summer, we serve Liège waffles as a snack!

Accueil fort sympathique, même avec notre gros chien. Ambiance chaleureuse, presque familiale. Service Au TOP fait par du personnel souriant et serviable. Rapport qualité prix très raisonnable au vu de la prestation. Je recommande à 100%
