Burgers, tapas, and vegetarian salad in a restaurant in Caen near the Pathé cinema on the banks of the Orne.
Vegetarians abstain. Here we come to meat: tartare or blue, as required for mudflap, accompanied by chips served in a reduced model basket, accompanied by a small salad and a sauce of your choice (pepper, roquefort or béarnaise). It is better to go back to the sauces rather than to the mayonnaise that - in rolls - is style unworthy of this name. If it is for a piece of meat (mudflap or faux) you will come to the Bistro for its Burger, chicken or beef. Do not look for the "home made" label (which, to reflect well, means everything and its opposite). Fries are not, more than chocolate foam, even less the accompanying Chantilly. This does not affect the good mood of the boss who will respond to the tac: "What is done home can also be uneatable." And we must recognize that we are not disappointed at this bistro. For film-pushers, the Pathé des Rives de l’Orne is right next door and the Bistro offers a cinema formula. Finally brasserie at noon, the Bistro turns into a wine bar/tapas bar when the evening comes. Oh, yes! In order not to put the vegetarian clientele on the back, there is still a sea salad (smoked salmon) and a hot goat salad served on demand without its lard.
